Toronto,3 days with 2y child
I will be in Toronto 18th-21st of Sep. I would like to stay in a reasonable hotel, close to the main attractions for me , my wife and kid. What is the recommended hotel (upto $ 150). What other activities or attractions you do recommend. Is Canada Wonerland a good place to live close to? If yes what is the closest reasonable hotel to it.
Appreciate your help Mamdouh |
I would recommend staying at the Marriott (downtown - not the airport). It's close to Yonge St. the Royal Ontario Museum, the Art Gallery, the Eaton Centre, the CN Tower and Skydome. Canada's Wonderland is about 1 hr.drive north of the city, so it's worth a day trip but there is nothing else around there. Better to stay downtown. |
Hi-I live just outside Toronto. Some other hotels you could check out are the Hilton downtown and also the Four Seasons-they might have special rates. Also there is a very nice Holiday Inn on King St.-close to theatres and restaurants and the SKydome. There are tours of the Skydome available. Also-I'm sure your 2 year old would enjoy Ontario Place-lots to see and do. Also there is a ferry that goes out to Centre Island. Centre Island has a small amusement park for kids, picnic spots, bike rentals, etc.

Thank you so much for your input. I started liking this lounge. Thanks again.

The Zoo in Toronto is great. I suggest the tram ride for a 2 year old. The science center is also excellent but you would enjoy it more than your youngster. There are multiple Venture Inn's in the area for reasonable housing.
