Top Waterparks

I've asked my thirteen year old son what he would like to do for a family vacation this summer and he stated he would like to go to "the best" water park. Can anyone suggest what "the best" might be. We are willing to travel. Thank you.

Orlando has a lot of them. I've only been to the three at Disney World but they are pretty good in my book. Go to their web site and check out Blizzard Beach!

The largest water park, and the best water park according to the travel channel, believe it or not is in the Wisconsin Dells. It just happens to be the tackiest city on the face of the planet as anyone will tell you. Check out travel channel's website, they list them. What they don't list is Family Land water park right next to the famous Noah's Ark water park. If you want to do other stuff worthy of touristy dollars, stick to Orlando, if you just want THE best water park, to the Dells it is!

Living in Wisconsin we've been to Noah's Ark more than once and my kids always enjoyed it allot more when they were there with friends and left Mom & Dad home. I guess there's something more fun about looking at the opposite sex with your peers.
The Dells is very much a tourist area--some very nice scenery along the river though. But more than enough tacky tourist shops. If you do plan a trip to the Dells I'd suggest looking at other activities (House on The Rock and Taliesin in Spring Green come to mind) for rainy/cold days. Madison isn't too far away and Milwaukee or Green Bay could also be visited as a day trip. Milwaukee or Green Bay would be about 2 1/2 hours (each way) from the Dells. As noted earlier Family Land is right next to Noah's Ark and is also a very nice water park.
Have Fun--

I also saw a program on the Travel Channel that listed Schlitterbahn in New Braunfels Tx. and the #1 waterpark. They even have a resort that you can stay at right on the river. Very nice. Also, could be combined with a side trip to San Antonio to see the Alamo, other missions and of course, the Riverwalk!
Do a search for 'Schlitterbahn'. They have a web site.
