Top of the Rock tickets for U.K
Can anyone let me know please whether I can purchase tickets for the Top of the Rock for a specific date and time on-line. It would seem that this facility does not extend to UK residents, only USA.
How I read the web page is that I have to produce a print-off at the Rock which will then enable me to book a time and place.

When are you going? We just went at the end of June and bought tickets the afternoon of the night we wanted to go up. We had no problem getting the dusk/sunset time we wanted. I wouldn't buy tickets that far ahead anyway, I'd want to know the weather report for a rough idea.

While I agree you can probably wait til you arrive to get tickets, I don't see why you'd have a problem booking online. When you're asked to fill in purchase info, they have a LONG list of countries of residence.

mclaurie, I don't understand your post.
No one said there is a problem booking on line. It's just that you don't get the most out of visiting the Top of the Rock if the weather is bad. So, we suggest waiting until you know what the weather will be.
And, what does the fact that "they have a LONG list of countries of residence" have to do with anything?

The OP was thinking that only those in the US could purchase tickets online.
I just want to reassure the OP that when we were there, there were only about 20 ppl up there with us, and I've heard there are no lines and you can get the time you want. That said, we did go up literally two min. after a storm, so maybe there would have been more people. So yeah, we did wait to book based on weather, but of course it was humid and the atmosphere was unstable, so it did storm afterall.
