Top of the Empire State Building or Top of the Rock?

Which offers the better views and better overall experience....top of the Empire State Building, or Top of the Rock?

I like the view from the Top of the Rock better - since it includes the Empire State Building - and a better view of Central Park. But - the ESB is taller.

As far as experience, TOTR has timed tickets - so no waits - while the waits at ESB can be horrendous at times.

Going to the top of the ESB is a pain in the neck. Do the TOR.

Yeah, Xanadu is looking like a strong possiblity...don't know if the kids would "get it" though.
