Too early to book?

I tried this in airlines with no response so far,

Message: Im taking my family to Portland from New Orleans in Mid june , Comeing back will be from Sacramento to New Orleans 10 days later.
After talkin to A.A. (my prefered airline)
I can book now for $319 ea. (5 people)
Im ready to book as this seems like a good price I would value some input from more more experenced flyers.
Thanks

I think 319.00 is a decent fare.
I am in DFW and travel to PDX 3 or 4 times a year.
I have a trip booked for Jan 15 which is certainly a low season and my ticket was 338.00. The tkt was purchased about 8 weeks in advance and includes a Saturday night stay. Fare L14RAA3N
Also you will have your choice of seats at this point which is kinda nice.
Just to reassure you... I work in the industry and was a travel agent for many years before moving into travel automation...
I now travel around 25x a year.
Best wishes ~

I would go for it now. You MAY be able to find a lower price later, but seats will be a problem. Also, pay now and get the pain of that expense over....the reduced fare may be close to your holiday and just one more expense at that time...

Looks good to me, I'd go for it before it goes up.

Anything in the low $300 range is good (especially since you have a large group. Book 'em Dano.
