Tomales Bay

We will be staying in Tomales Bay for two nights the end of this month - celebrating an anniversary with our friends. Staying at Tomales Bay Resort & Marina, and looking for ideas for restaurants and activities we all might enjoy. Two of us like to hike and take long walks, no one golfs, and we all enjoy seafood (oysters!) and wine. Does anyone know the area and what's open now? Thanks.

Marshall on the other side of the bay has a couple of places that specialize in oysters: Tony's Seafood Restaurant and Hog Island Oyster Co

For hiking go to the northern tip of the peninsula; there's a long hike to the very tip (never done it) and another down to McClure's Beach:

The park headquarters should have more information for walks and hikes. Limantour beach is nice:

You're about an hour from Point Reyes Lighthouse (we visited in 2013 ... I can tell since my hair hadn't turned gray yet)). With Covid, currently the steps down to the Lighthouse are only open Saturday and Sunday and Sunday (its link, along with my trip report from that day are below). Also, Visitor Center at top is closed and you cannot go inside the Lighthouse. If you want to go, check weather forecast. We lucked out. Some days it is completely fogged in, which is why there's a lighthouse.
