Today's Rose Bowl:Wisconsin v. Stanford
For those of ye attending the Rose Bowl today:
Gotta hand it to the loyal fans from Wisconsin.
When we drove up for the 2000 Rose Bowl (also Wisconsin v. Stanford) - all game - one side of the stadium would yell - Ron - and then the other side would answer - Dayne.
Yes, Wisconsin's great running back carried the ball a lot that day - even though an overmatched Stanford stayed in the game.
Hey - maybe there is something to this article - praising ole coach Barry Alvarez for being lucky.

I have always thought that being lucky and being good go hand in hand.
I think Wisconsin is going to have a long row to hoe today. Losing your regular coach is never a good thing.
I hope they do well as they seem to run a clean program and represent middle america, much as the Packers represent middle america. Besides, since my home team(minnesota) can't be there, I should root for my neighbor.
