TODAY ONLY - Spirit Air offering $8.00 flights

Don't know if this will help anyone or not but Spirit Air is offering $8.00 flights on their website.

This fare applies to certain dates and certain destinations, but, hey, there may be someplace listed where you would like to go.

Tickets have to be purchased by 11:59 p.m. tonight.

Thought I would pass this on in case somebody can take advantage of this offer.

Pity. I can't take advantage--only option from ATL is FLL and it's sold out. I hope others can get a great deal!

Well, I have no desire to go to Orlando so my only other option is Detroit. Emd, same question...what's to do in Detroit?

Believe it or not, when my S&BIL come later this summer, they are going to Detroit! I asked...Why? Well, they have friends there, but besides that, I have no idea what they plan on doing.

The Henry Ford is an awesome place to tour. There's a lot to do here in Detroit but without knowing interests I can't help!

Detroit is a great city to visit for a weekend. see the henry ford , go to see the tigers play - awsome ballpark, check out motown. go to hockeytown across from the ball park, try one of the 3 casinos in town - eat in greektown!

Yes, come for a visit! We have a nice zoo, the Henry Ford Museum and Greenfield Village will easily fill two days. Sommerset Mall is GREAT shopping.

You could go over to Canada for a day. We have a great science center downtown and a really nice children's museum in Ann Arbor.

There is an art fair in Plymouth that starts tomorrow. Let me know if you need other ideas.

I'm certainly going to pass your Detroit suggestions to my S&BIL!!

I like the sound of a GTG, but it will cost me more than $8 bucks -- I feel cheated in NY where the fare is $44 each way (still a bargain though).
