We really wanted to do a luau while we were on Maui, so we did the Old Lahaina Luau and loved it. We met great people, enjoyed the view, the pig roast, the entertainment, etc. That being said, I feel sort of "been there, done that" about it and neither of us has a big desire to do it again.

personal I guess, but I don't care for them and they are way too expensive. there are so many wonderful places to eat and still capture the Islands.

The only luau I've liked is the Old Lahaina Luau on Maui. We went to one on Kauai that was AWFUL - we left midway through. Same with the Polynesian Cultural Center on Oahu.
