TKTS questions

I have seen quite a few Broadway shows, but have never used TKTS- mostly bc ive tried taking my daughter to shows and at 6 her patience is not amazing.... But i really want to see Book of Mormon and I might go alone. Is this a show that might be selling tix on TKTS, like a single seat ticket? Or should I just step up and pay 250 on broadway box?TIA!

No. Tickets won't be available at TKTS.

Unsold tickets are sold at a discount at the TKTS booths. Shows that are selling out don't have tickets to sell at TKTS. It will be a long time before the Book of Mormon will be sold there. Wicked is still selling at capacity after eight years on Broadway, two national tours going and long-term engagements in several cities in the US. There's no telling how long the Book of Mormon will be selling at capacity. It was years for The Producers too.

Here's what was at the booth last week - http://www.tdf.org/TDF_SupportPage.aspx?id=68&do=v

The only way to see Book of Mormon at a discount is to join the raffle. If you plan it right that should not take more than 30 minutes. People from our office have gotten tickets this way, so it's definitely possible.

Thanks all, Doug, what is the raffle?

Search for Songdoc's recent thread - he describes the lottery for Book of Mormon.
