Titanic Display - Houston, TX
I heard a Titanic display would be in Houston. Does anyone know any details on this? A website to go to or number to call.
Thanks.

www.digitalcity.com is a great website for finding out the major events in any big city. I checked it out and found out that the Titanic exhibit will open on 11/14 and run through December. For more details go to the digital city website.

Go to Citysearch, click on Houston, and type in Titanic on the search function.

Here's a little general info:
Over 300 artifacts
It's gotten good reviews.
Runs through January 5

Price: Adults $17; children (3-11)
members $9; seniors (over 62) $14.50
If it's the same exhibit that came through Seattle, it's well worth seeing.
|
It is at the Houston Museum of Natural Science which also has an IMAX movie dealing wuth the subject. All the info is at www.hmns.org
Enjoy!
|
As usual, this is very EASY info to find on your own.

Go to Yahoo and type TITANIC and HOUSTON and voila! the very first listing is the museum's page dedicated to the show.

Assuming that is the same traveling display that was in Kansas City about 10 months ago, it was rather disapointing. In fact the most interesting piece had been on display as a teaser in the free area of Union Station for weeks before the exhibit.

IMO not worth it.

Keith
