Tipping the limo driver, how much?
We are going to travel to the WDW in orlando, since we will stay on the property of WDW, so we don't plan to rent a car. To get us from airport to the hotel, we (3 dults and 1 kid) will use limo service. Here are my questions, which limo service should I go to? And for a 80 dollars round trip charge, how much should I tip the driver each way?
Thanks in advance!
Vincent:
At least 15% 12.00 or more.

I've used Happy Limousine in Orlando (found out about them at www.orlandotripplanner.com - they have a $5.00 off coupon for them on that site). They were great by the way. I tip $10.00 going to the hotel and $10.00 going back to the airport (often you will have different drivers for the two trips). I think this is standard.

I agree w/ April.

I've used a limo service approximately twelve times with four different companies. Every service I have used has INCLUDED a 20% gratuity in the agreement. Check before tipping again!

We've used Classic Carriage and their service is the best. We booked it and paid for it up front and they were waiting at baggage claim for us when we arrived and came to our room at WDW Caribbean resort and picked us up. All-inclusive price (tip included) for car service $92.00.
Our first time ever in Orlando, (we mentioned it to the driver) they gave us a neat tour of the area.
Car service is the only way to go.

Hey Mel,

I agree totally. Classic Carriage was one of the best Limo services we've ever used. I liked how they called us at home the night before we left and called us at our hotel the night before we were due to head home (to confirm everything) Their service was terrific and cars were extra clean.
We got a short tour too. My kids loved it.
