One other bit of info. This will be around the 20th of June. Thanks

take 101 from Manchester over to Interstate 95, drive 95 north into Maine, get off in Kittery onto Route 1 North. Drive north thru York, Ogunquit, Moody, Wells and then back onto Interstate 95 in Wells. (You'll also miss the $1.50 toll). From there, drive north on Interstate 95 until you almost get to Portland, from there, get on Interstate 295 North, drive all the way to Brunswick exit and then take Route 1 North the rest of the way to Blue Hill. Note: The exits before the Brunswick exit are to Freeport (home of L.L.Bean and lot's of shops) in case you wanted to stop there, just take Route 1 north from Freeport. Hope this helps.

I agree with the above poster. If you wanted to save time, don't get off on Rt 1 until you get to Brunswick but the traffic on June 20 shouldn't be too bad. Maine is a lot quieter in June than in July but be aware that Kittery/Rt 1 takes your through very congested outlet malls for a few miles. The lupine might still be in bloom June 20 and are very beautiful. I think the lupine festival is a week earlier.
