We haven't been to Hanalei yet and we're pretty sure we're heading to someplace in Hawaii this winter so I was looking forward to saving the information to have for my research.

Well, I just booked a HNL trip yesterday, for a week, all of it on Oahu, staying at the Marriott Resort, Waikiki. I'll be there in mid-August. I noticed hotel rates are lower once you get past Aug 15th. Glad the bulk of my time is after that date!

Finally can play again...just booked our 12-day trip to Maui for Oct/Nov this year. Was a little late to the game, and the mileage requirement for free tickets jumped to almost double! So, ended up purchasing the flights using a coupon which didn't make it quite so bad. But am pretty excited about staying at the new Andaz Maui in Wailea for 4 nights (we will celebrate our 5th wedding anniversary here) and then a week at the Honua Kai in Kaanapali!

tifa, it wasn't that interesting. Water, beach, rain, bugs, roosters, boring, boring, boring.

We leave Kauai tomorrow, but I can report than we have 200+ days until Maui in February.

thanksgiving day for a quick 5 day trip to HNL and then 10 days in March 2014 to Kauai.

Wekewendy - sounds like my kind of vacation! Minus the bugs. and maybe rain, but I don't mind rain on vacation. It actually gives us a chance to take a step back, relax in our hotel/condo, and just chill.

I have a date with a Humpback Whale on Maui in 205 days.

Hate to break this to you, but I heard the whales went on strike and have decided to winter in the Fiji islands around Navini. The dolphins and turtles are still holding out for an agreement with the Maui tourism board.

The whales will be back when they figure out what a dump Navini is. It is worse than Kauai.

Just booked a big house on the beach in Oahu's north shore for a family trip--my husband, two adult daughters and their husbands. Can't wait! We're doing mid-April, so that's about.....6 months?

54 days until 4 weeks of bliss....so much to happen between now and then ...but a great destination to dream about in the meantime! The end of the rainbow is nearly within reach.....

86 mo' days. And hiking, biking, swimming and just flat out good old walking are back on the table again! ((Y))

23 days until Maui...and I haven't done much planning at all (which is probably a good thing for us...)

At the moment we have air tickets, places to stay and car hire organized - the family are not too keen to book up anything before we get there...we'll see what happens...I might just leave them at home! At least we will certainly have experienced complete chill time and the Aloha spirit by the time we come home :-)

51 days til we land in Kona--on Thanksgiving day--(trip number 22 to the island of Hawaii)! Seared ahi and haupia for the holiday dinner-maybe. DH is looking forward to our time there to complete his recuperation from total knee replacement (done yesterday). He says-- couldn't happen in a better place.

martym, where do you stay in Kona? I know some people here do not like it but we stayed last winter and enjoyed the location! Drove the whole island over our time there but would love to go back and explore more!

Tale of Two Siblings in Kauai: Part II

DH & I are going back to Kauai with my brother & K next July! We are going for my brother's big 3-0! We will be there July 26-August 2. Can't wait!!!

We booked our condo...262 days!!!!!!!!!!

Booked to go back to Maui for July 9-16 next year. Gotta get past a trip to Africa in February first.

100 days until the dreaded island of Maui. >:-)

23 Days!! Graduation to get through next week - then I can start a true countdown to 32 days of bliss....Oahu,Maui,BI and Kauai...truly can't wait!
