Is it interstate all the way?

From Springdale you drive about 30 miles on Hwy 9 before reaching I-15. There is one section soon after you leave Zion and just before you reach the town of Hurricane that has a steep grade and a large switchback. It's not bad, just wanted to warn you. It can be done after dark. The rest is an easy drive (mostly 4 lanes) with several stop lights along the way.
