Ticonderoga To Burlington VT
Does anyone know the quickest route (by car) from Ticonderoga, NY to Burlington, VT?
I'm vacationing in Burlington this month, but would like to visit Fort Ticonderoga on the way up from New York City. |
Very simple. Get on the Norhway (I-87) from Ticonderoga to exit 32 (Willsboro-Essex) and follow signs to Essex ferry, which will take you to Charlotte, VT. From there it is about a 20 minute drive north on Rte 7 directly into Burlington.

Take 9n out of Ti to Route 17 (over the Crown Point Bridge)east to 22A north to 7 north.
Going from Ti to 87 takes you way out of the way. |
Take 9N north to 17. Take 17 to Addison, VT. Once in Addison take a left at 22A which goes north through Vergennes, VT. 22A hooks up with Rte 7 just north of town. Take 7 north to Burlington. This is a much more direct and scenic way to go.
