Tickets for Big Bambu at the Met
 

Anyone walked through the sculpture yet? They'll release tickets 3x/day on Saturday, and I'm wondering how early I need to go (or if I need to go early at all) for the 9:30 ticket release.

I assume the tickets are for the tour/walking on the elevated paths. I think you can just go to the roof without tickets, though I imagine there will be some wait since the elevator can't hold very many people and the installation takes up so much floor space, they can't allow too many people at a time anyway.
I was there on a weekday around 4:30 and it was pretty busy. Saturdays must be crazy.

Yes, the tickets are for walking through/on it. They release tickets 2 to 3 times a day, and you get a timed entrance ticket.

Thanks for the tour link. I was doing a "drive by" in the Met today and I love the space below the sculpture. The Picasso and costume exhibits are also awesome!
