Thrift Stores San Francisco
 

Will be in San Francisco Aug. 16-25. I am a thrift store junkie & need to know what the absolutely best thrift stores are, particularly looking for any with large vintage costume jewelry selection. Thanks!

While I haven't been there in awhile, you might like the Next to New Shop, which is run by the Junior League of San Francisco.

It is located at 2226 Fillmore Street, San Francisco , CA 94115, (415) 567-1627.

They used to keep their best collections in the back room, so you might ask if they still do that. There are other great shops on Fillmore Street, so it's a fun neighborhood shopping area.

Just walk up and down Haight...you'll find many! It's my favorite thing to do when I'm in SF.

I agree, there are a lot of good thrift stores on Haight Street.

There's a monster Goodwill at Mission and Ocean. There's another one not as far out on Mission, that does offer vintage clothing. Might want to hit them both.

I just scored two great items at resale shops in SF - Anne Fontaine blouse and Faconable slacks. There are stores along Fillmore and also on Sacramento in the Laural Hights area. I just googled Resale shops before I went and got a list two pages long, including thrift stores. Have fun!
