Stayed at the Beacon in the spring with our family of six--great value if you have a family and don't want to have to get 2 hotel rooms, since the Beacon has reasonably priced suites with kitchenette. Comfortable, clean, convenient to the subway, Fairway market across street for snacks and breakfast foods. You get the feel of staying in a neighborhood--the Upper West Side is great with cute shops and lots of reasonably priced places to eat, although we were usually somewhere else at mealtimes.. The kids got a kick out of Gray's Papaya, which has really good and cheap hotdogs and is right across from the subway station. We have teenagers who are always hungry and wanted a snack on the way back to the Beacon at night.

Outta-Stayed at the BWP a few times-it's very convenient to both Times Sq and the Theatre District. Subway not too far away, maybe 2 blocks. The rooms were recently renovated, and although small, are nicely done. Not sure if they still offer this service, but there was discounted hotel parking at the Zenith parking garage, about 1 block away. Discounted parking in NYC is in itself a savings! We'd stay at the BWP without hesitation.
