Thomasville, GA
 

Has anyone ever been to Thomasville, GA recently? I'm wondering if it's a nice place to visit for a stop on a road trip, or for longer. Thanks!

It's a nice little town - nothing much going on there.

I was recently there for a couple of hours, and that was more than enough!

A little south of town there is a beautiful plantation--just can't remember its name--been a while since I was there.<BR>It is worth a visit--has tours or you can just walk around.<BR>This Thomasville is NOT the one where they make furniture!!!

Thanks for the responses. I'll have to see if a stop there fits in our plans. Don't worry, we weren't thinking of going because we thought it had anything to do with furniture!
