things to to do with teen at night
 
planning a trip to dc in april, with wife and 14 yr old daughter, getting in sat 4/12 pm.<BR>would like to plan somthing special for 1st night. planning to stay in the dupont circle area. other than dinner and movie what else is avalable week nights? any other suggestions for the week would be appreciated

There's an ongoing show at the Kennedy Center called Shear Madness. I think it's on every night.

There are dinner cruises down the Potomac-might be chilly though. My teen loved taking the metro to the Pentagon city mall.

Our family of four just returned from DC. We all enjoyed the musical &quot;1776&quot; at Fords' Theater, even our 2 boys. History and entertainment combined. It runs through 6/1. Your daughter might enjoy that.
