things to do in Orlando and Kissimmee

What are some neat things to do in these two places that don't involve theme parks? Examples: gardens, museums, boating, etc. Thanks!

Jon, my family used to like to visit Lake Eola in Orlando to ride on the swan boats. Another suggestion is to visit the town of Winter Park, which is right next to Orlando. There you can visit the Morse Museum which houses a large collection of Tiffany lamps. You can also take a scenic boat tour from there. Winter Park is also home to Mead Botanical Garden and every 3rd Thursday you can watch an old flick for free complete with free popcorn in their Central Park. There are also many shops and restaurants in Winter Park.
