Whitewater Rafting Near Zion/Bryce Canyon

Our family is planning a trip to Las Vegas / Zion / Bryce Canyon / Antelope Canyon in late April / Early May of this year. We would like to include a Whitewater rafting trip (1/2 day or 1 day). Can anyone please recommend a Whitewater opportunity in that area?

Thanks so much!

I can't think of any whitewater rafting in the area, but we did do a smooth water half day trip on the Colorado river from Page (Boulder Dam) to Lees Ferry. It was interesting, with a stop at some petroglyphs along the way and you were down in the canyons, but was not full of thrills and spills. You really need to head to Moab or Bluff for whitewater.

Green River and Moab, Utah are the only opportunity for
'white water'.
Just Google

The most challenging is from Moab, Utah to Hites Ferry on Lake Powell with Cataract Rapids the most challenging.

You could look into this trip: http://www.grandcanyonwest.com/rafting.php
It is the only one day trip in the Grand Canyon, though your itinerary does not go near Peach Springs it may be impractical.

The 1/2 day trip in Page along the last portion of the Glen Canyon while not white water is really a beautiful trip. Though it can be hot in the summer.
