Just when you think they have this posting problem fixed, it's back. Trying 3 and 4 times to post makes me want to scream!!!!
Using the back button is no longer working, new screens are opening, and sometimes now I click preview or post, and absolutely NOTHING happens.
Are there any programmers or web engineers out there that could give Fodor's a few pointers?

And how am I supposed to reply to this if the reply feature isn't working?
Sorry Gal, but it seems to me the problem this time is different. First time in 5 years clicking on "try to reply to this" takes me to a blank page! Something new, huh?
And no, I wouldn't dare to preview!

This is nothing new. If you're just getting a white screen, you probably have to scroll to the right to see the thread and the "post a reply" box.
When I get done typing my reply, before I hit "Post my reply" I highlight the entire text and do a Command-C to copy it (just like in Word or Excel, like you're doing a copy and paste). Then, when I hit post my reply and it takes me to a new page, I just do a Command-V which pastes my text into the box on that page, and voila, no backtracking or retyping everything. It takes very little time and keeps the frustration to a minimum.

I hit "reply" once, and got a white screen. Scrolled to the right, and the post and the normal reply were there.
But after typing my reply the posting attempt opened another window. Without my post.
So now I would need to do more work to paste it?? And where would it take me - to window #3? Will there be a limit?
No, thanks, I'd rather wait till the summer is over and this site is fixed.

Well, I don't think it's a lot of work to copy and paste, but maybe that's just me. You only have to do that once - it doesn't take you to yet another window. It's either that, or re-type it, or don't post at all.
Btw, this reply went through the first time. I've only had the problem with multiple windows maybe 10 times total.

Weasel, I am glad you only have to do the cut and pasting thing once. Sometimes it works the first time, but stick around awhile and sooner or later you'll find you have to cut and paste more than once.
With the previous episode of this, you could use the back button, but that's not working to well with this episode. Also, before you didn't get that BLANK screen, (Yes, Faina, you did get a blank screen, even if others haven't). I've gotten it a few times, too. Well, I'm off to Europe since it sounds like it is working correctly . . . maybe we can all be of more help over there. LoL

Ahhhh, yes. I get esactly the same thing but I've been doing exactly what Weazel has been doing and it has worked. Yes, it is irritating but I really try not to get anoid with technical problems such as this. Working in research databases has taught me to be patient.
p.s. I did yoga tonight - it helps.
trying it again. this is post #3
