Theater in NY - only 2 nights

We will be in NY in mid October - we have meetings to attend so only 2 nights for theater. I am trying to choose between: Hairspray, Momma Mia, Producers, Nine, 42nd Street. Any help? Thanks

IMHO, the Producers and Hairspray would be a great combination and both are GREAT shows. There is talk that Lane and Brodrick are coming back to the show, for the fall.

I have seen all the plays listed and I would say Hairspray and The Producers. You should know that it will be easier to secure tickets to these shows since the original stars are no longer in The Producers and Hairspray. Antonio Banderas is leaving sometime in October (Nine). You should check out the TKTS booth on West 47th street and Broadway for discounted tickets on days of performances. You can get up to 50% off on many shows, however, I am not sure that the shows I suggested would be on. I do believe that 42 street would be available. Good luck.

The Broderick/Lane rumor is that they might return to the Producers in JANUARY, at least the last I heard. Hundreds of people showed up at the box office to purchase Jan tickets the day the rumor broke, but no tickets for sale at this time past 12/31.

Another endorsement of the Hairspray/Producers tandem.
Lane and Broderick are reportedly returning to the show in New Year's Eve and staying 3 months.

Does anyone have the number for the ticket office for The Producers? Is calling the ticket office direct the best way to secure tickets? Thank you

you can look at www.broadway.com. There is a calandar so you can pick your seats and dates, The tickets will be mailed to you, I believe.
