Theater Decision
 

Looking for an opinion - should we (2 couples) go for great seats (front row mezzanine, for instance) at Millie, or 'other' seats (side mezz or side orch) at Producers or Hairspray? We haven't seen any of these, and good seating is gone for the latter two for our travel dates.

I have seen Millie - but a few weeks ago, we saw the Producers - were walking by and only in town for a night and we got side orch seats. Loved it, would definitely pick ok seats for Producers rather than great seats for something else.

Definitely go for either Hairspray or The Producers. Both are much better shows.

Playbill states that Harvey Firestien may leave the show as well. (in addition to Marissa Janet Winkour who played the lead, who left a couple weeks ago). We saw Hairspray 2 weeks ago. It was great. Can't imagine it without the two of them. Anyone see it without Marissa Janet Winkour?

Some theater-savvy friends saw Winokur's replacement and said she was excellent.
