I just booked this Hotel.... Any Comments....<BR>I did a good choice.... I had a reservation<BR>at the Mayflower and change it to the Westin<BR>Embassy Row... I got a rate of $150.00.<BR>Please let me know...

good hotel, great location -- that's a very good rate, I think you did fine (although there's nothing wrong with the Mayflower, that's for sure -- but the Westin might be viewed as a somewhat more convenient location for walking around, restaurants, bookstores, etc being near Dupont Circle, the Mayflower is in a little more business-y area).

Why ask for opinions after you've made the reservations?

I think you'll like the Westin. The rooms are lovely (and all have Westin's trademark "heavenly" beds and showers, which are fabulous). It's in a great area for walking, restaurants, bars, etc. and I have always found the staff there to be very pleasant and accommodating (I'm getting married there next spring, so I've had lots of interaction with them!). And you definitely got a good rate.<BR><BR>Also, don't miss the Phillips Collection, a wonderful art museum just a block away.
