FL has had a hard winter. There were even snow flurries in Daytona Beach last week! The five day forecast (for what that is worth!) is calling for highs around 70 by the first, and lows in the 50's. I would absolutely bring some warmer clothes, though, in case another of these fronts comes through while you are here. There were a couple of mornings last week I wore a parka, but hopefully that's a thing of the past. Right now I have on shorts. The nice thing is that despite the cold, the skies have been bright and sunny.

If you have some warmer things, slacks/jeans, sweater, you should be comfortable. I sure wouldn't count on all shorts weather. It won't be that, and you will need a light jacket in the evening. If you've got a sweater to go under it, you should be ready for most anything we can throw at you.

Now, take into consideration in reading the above, that I'm acclimated to FL weather, so what is cold to me, may not be to you. We were out at the beach last weekend in long pants, sweaters and jackets, yet some of the tourists braved it in bathing suits around the hotel pool. We couldn't believe our eyes!

Be forewarned though, it has been a colder than normal winter and it seems to be in a rather nasty rut. With luck, the pattern will change and it will be beautiful for you.
