The View & Rosa Mexicana, NYC
 

I have been doing alot of research on good restaurants in midtown west area near theatres and Hiton NY where we will be staying this weekend....came cross these two restaurants but not listed on menupages.com, any comments on them, and pricing??? Would like to spend about $100 for both of us?? Someone also mentioned Kings' Carriage House, didn't find much either? Thanks, Amy

Rosa Mexicana has two locations, one on the upper East side & one on the West side. BEST guacamole - prepared tableside; and terrific pomegranite margaritas!

Rosa Mexicano is excellent -- but it has the 2nd best guacamole. Dos Caminos beats it by a hair (not in the guac, of course). Both are prepared tableside.

I wasat Rosa Mexicano the other night for a delicious dinner. Make a reservation and ask to sit upstairs. Wonderful service and guacamole to die for. Go hungry!

Wonderful decor, great Italian, attentive service.
Dressy casual.

it would be a crime to miss rosa mexicana! i've been to the location on the east side...must have guacomole, and pomagranite margaritas!
