Oh, come on, Emma -- surely the "Times Square" reference gave you the information.
Have heard the "W" rooms are more style than comfort, and teeny, with oddly cramped bathrooms. Do not have first-hand knowledge, however, so I suggest you search on this forum for "W."

Sabrina,
We stayed in the W Tuscany in Manhatten and were not impressed. Very small lobby and the decor was a little too stark and bland for my tastes. For the price I expected a bit more. I'm not sure if the W Times Square is any better, but the W in Union Square has a great lobby bar and is a little more happening.
