THE SUNBURST RESORT IN SCOTTSDALE AZ.
 

I have found some great rates at the Sunburst Resort in Scottsdale. I am looking for any information on it. Is it nice? Is it in a good location? Is it better to stay in Scottsdale or Phoenix?

Very good location, right in the middle of things on Scottsdale Road and I think it has a pretty good reputation.<BR>

The Sunburst is an older hotel/resort that appears to have been Completely Renovated and looks very nice. Its withoin a few blocks of downtown Scottsdale. I think its a great location. and if their rates are attractive a very good deal (from appearances). Been to several parties there and the grounds are very nice (not like the Phoenician etc. but attractive nonetheless)

Not familiar with the Sunburst, but I think you're much better off staying Scottsdale than Phoenix. Been to both places several times, and I still can't figure out why anyone would want to spend time in Phoenix.

Don,<BR> Some friends stayed at the Sunburst Resort a couple of years ago for a conference, and enjoyed it. It is actually a nice place. Had a decent pool area, rooms weren't bad, restaurant was good, location good. If you can go higher in cost, would definitely recommend Hyatt Resort at Gainey Ranch over the Sunburst. But I think you would enjoy Sunburst.

I stayed at the Sunburst a couple months ago and the post by David is right on.

Sylvie, have you checked out their website at www.sunburstresort.com? They list special offers. The really good rate that I got was their federal employee rate. Sorry that I couldn.t be more help.
