If you want a total 'old fashioned' Vegas experience, stay in a Luv Tub (no, I'm not making that up) room at Imperial Palace. DH and I had the pleasure several years ago when staying at the IP for a meeting. Totally kitschy and Vegas like. The IP is pretty much just okay--I think you can do much better by checking around. Someone else may have mentioned this before, but sign up for Internet deals at hotel websites--I swear we get emails from hotels almost every day of the week and some are REAL deals.
