The Ski-ing Scotsman!!

Hi Guys,

I'm planning a trip to Aspen and am currently writing my clothing list. I would like to know of the best ski schools around and best places to grab a bite to eat. Can anyone advise me whether or not it would be appropriate to ski in my kilt as I do this frequently in the Highlands of Scotland around this time of year.

Looking forward to your responses.

Cheerio,

Frank,

I think it would be a hoot to see someone skiing in a kilt - definately pack it! Though it might be a bit chilly depending on the weather.

Americans have always been curious about what you Scotsmen wear under those kilts. Sounds like those sharing the slopes with you in Aspen may get the chance to find out!

Take it from me - we wear boxers underneath as I'm sure you're aware of the temperatures in Scotland. If you want everything to stay where it is (and function) you HAVE to wear something underneath.

Thanks guys for the welcomed advice! My bags packed and the kilt's has pride of place! So keep your eyes peeled for a tartan tear-away traversing the slopes of Aspen!!

P.S. *TIP* The sporan is a great place to keep your sun block safe especially when it comes to a quick re-applying session while in mid flight - whoo hoo!!
