The original Giordano's

I am spending 2 days in Chicago and my boyfriend told me I must eat at Giordano's Pizza. I want to be truly authentic but I can't quite figure out which location is the original one. Either that or which one do you suggest has the best decor?

The original one in onb Lincoln Avenue near Clark St. I would go to Gino's East before I would go to Giordano's.

Well, he had me PROMISE him I would go to Giordano's. He would not let up on it. But maybe next time I'll try Gino's. Thanks.

For the life of me, I can't understand why people line up outside Giordano's for hours. Their pizza is disgusting.

I like Giordano's Pizza much more than Geno's East. I felt like Geno's was way to heavy.
From my experience, all of the Giordano's were very similar; I don't think you need to find the original.
Enjoy!

I'll leave your boyfriend's control issues for Dear Abby and agree that one Giordano's is just like the next. ;-)

People line up outside the one at Rush and Superior when they could walk a few blocks down Michigan and walk into the one on South Water St. Check their site and find the one that will be most convenient for you www.giordanos.com.

I'll be spending my time around the Museum Campus and Mag. Mile. Since I'm not too familiar with where the streets are that are named on the website, which resturants are around those areas?

The easiest ones for you to reach would be Rush & Superior, behind Saks (the one that's always packed), or in the Prudential Bldg at Lake & Michigan. The next closest locations are at the NW corner of the loop on Randolph & Franklin or the SW corner of the loop at Jackson & Wells.

Actually, my favorite pizza is in Skoike/Morton Grove: Pequods
