I posted the following on your other thread:

Very interesting, thanks for posting that, Dayenu. These are sculptures dating back to the time of John the Fearless.

The March 2 - May 23, 2010 "run in New York" is at the Met:

I printed a reminder for myself too, this will go into "to do and see" folder, perhaps next year in December in San Francisco.

Thanks, dayenu!! This may get me back up to the VMFA. It's been too long since I've last been.

Thanks so much Dayenu. I will definitely see them here in NY and maybe if I'm lucky, I can see them in SF too!

Haha, the Richmond stop is in 2012. I would have been TWO years early.

For those who think Dijon is only notable for mustard - this work comes from the museum in Dijon - HQ for the Dukes of Burgundy. These sculptures are out travelling right now because the museum is doing renovations.

I forgot about this thread. I saw the exhibit a few weeks ago. I thought they were wonderful. I've never seen anything like it.

My parents saw this exhibit last week and thought it was wonderful. I'm very excited that the next stop will be here in St. Louis at SLAM.

I almost forgot that the exhibit is in NYC right now until I saw the WSJ review! Well, we'll go see it too in a few weeks, after your visit, china_cat!
