Joan---are you coming on the Bainbridge ferry? Wann's isn't too far; if it doen't work for easytraveler to pick you up, you could walk up to First Ave. and take a free bus north to Lenora. Wann's is on Second between Lenora and Virginia.

Yes, I'll be coming on the Bainbridge ferry. Thanks so much for the offer. My son will be coming with me and we'll get a taxi up, maybe if it's easy for us to be dropped at the ferry after that would be good, but I'm fine with a taxi. I could come as a tent and my son could come as Omar. He's half Greek so he could pass as an Omar and I won't be a pup tent.

What fun, Joan

Hope they don't happen on the same trip! LOL!

chatham: Omar and The Tent? Sounds fascinating!

I'm so looking forward to meeting everyone on this GTG!

artlover: weren't you coming as a tennis player?

Why are you coming as a vacuum?

Thanks for the kind words, artlover.

Wann's is a GREAT place for those of you who haven't had the pleasure yet. I was there for the first time after work a couple weeks ago. Very nice.

Oh what fun! Count me in! The only places I've dined in Seattle have been 2 different McD's, the food hall in Westlake Center, Ivars on the Waterfront and a Seattle's Best Coffee somewhere! Oh and the doughnut stall in Pike Place Market!

Please send airline ticket to Wildblueyonder, UK. Much obliged!

query, query:

would it be possible to drive over to Bellevue after a night at Wann's? Or should I find lodging downtown?

What's the freeway situation, BTW? Is I-90 undergoing construction?

Decisions! Decision!

wildblueyonder - You're always welcome! artlover will send her private jet to pick you up!

Not for this GTG, but for the future, if anybody can go to Vancouver, I'll be there one day only on June 7 Saturday on a cruise.

easytraveler~ Sure it'd be very easy to drive to Bellevue. I prefer to use I-5 north then onto the 520 bridge. It shouldn't take more than 20 mins. or so later in the evening.

Hey! I just totally happened across this by chance! I would love to come! If enzian is coming as a blue flower and Orcas as a whale, I shall come as a deep breath or sigh. Hm, I wonder what that looks like?!

See you November 2! I'm so glad I found this thread now - normally with this sort of thing I would have found it on November 3!

easytraveler,
LOL
Actually, I haven't been able to find the black tennis shoes with 4 (now) swiss flags on them yet, so I might just have to come as myself. (BTW, I e-mailed you some info re. your query, did you get it?)

wildlueyonder,
come join us, I saw some great fares this time of year on airfarewatchdog.com!

suspire,
Great. Will put you on the YES list.

Anyone else?
