The Hotel Telluride
 

I'm looking for a romantic weekend getaway, and came across this place. Just curious if anyone has stayed here and had any thoughts on it?

Don't know about The Hotel Telluride, but Telluride is a great little romantic town. Pricey though.

My husband and I were thinking of staying at this place also(his suggestion!). We looked at it on the interenet and got the impression that it just opened within a month or two ago. If that's true I don't know that many people will be familiar with it on here. It looks really nice though.

Lenleigh - <BR>I sort of got that impression as well, but I didn't find anything concrete about an opening day or anything. When are you planning on going? If it's sometime soon, let me know what you think of it. I'm Curious if it would be worth the drive or not. :)

If we go we were thinking about the begining of June, so fairly soon. Husband still has yet to make a reservation and we arent sure if we are going to. The rates werent bad at all though, about 150.00/night and the rooms looked pretty nice. Telluride is about a 4 to 5 hour drive from us. We also looked into a VERY nice cabin near Boulder but it is a lot more expensive than this place(surprisingly). If we go, I will let you know! And vice versa!

I had almost the same exact question about a nice, romantic place to stay in Telluride. I'm planning a trip in late July. Will consider a condo, cabin, or hotel. Any suggestions? Thanks.

Stealth--from where are you driving?<BR><BR>That area of Colorado is worth a drive from anywhere to me.

I'm comming from the denver area, so I was figuring about 6-7 hours on the road.<BR><BR>Still don't know about the hotel, but any places you might recomend to see or eat at?
