The Hill
 

I see lots of raves on the Hill area in St. Louis, but I don't see it on a map. Where is the area near or what streets?

try posting this to the missouri section. you might get a response.<BR>

You know, twonspls, if you don't have a clue, you shouldn't really give advice.<BR><BR>The Missouri Section? There is no Missouri section. There is a keyword you can select that will help sort the Missouri stuff togther.<BR><BR>Creeper, try doing a search for either St. Louis or Missouri.

The Hill is south of Forest Park, Just west of Kingshighway.

Creeper<BR>Any hotel could give directions also. The Sheraton had books with infomation as to what many on The Hill offered and price range in their rooms. We were in St Louis for a week on business and ate on The Hill 4 evenings. Loved it! We also shopped one afternoon at the Italian markets. Picked up Olive Oil soap which is great!

The Hill area, historically an Italian neighborhood, is bounded by I-44 on the north, Kingshighway on the east, Arsenal on the south and Sublette to the west. It's jam packed with excellent Italian restaurants, many of which have been in the same family for generations.<BR><BR>Rigazzi's - on Daggett is a good place for a low cost lunch and a fishbowl of beer.<BR><BR>Cunetto's - on Magnolia - good all round dinner place. Reasonable prices and the salads with the house italian are great. Lines get long on weekend nights.<BR><BR>Zia's on the Hill - on Wilson - if you're looking for something upscale, more wine selection.<BR><BR>Favazza's - on Southwest - If you like cannaloni, go. Coming from a native St. Louisan, this was my favorite place. I've relocated, but I miss this place.<BR><BR>
