The Grand Canyon
 

Want to visit the Grand Canyon from Las Vegas. Where is close lodging in/very close to the Grand Canyon that isn't to far from Vegas?

It's usually a 5 hour drive from Las Vegas to the Grand Canyon, so I guess it depends on what you consider "not too far" from Vegas. Staying inside the park is best.

You can stay at the Gr. Canyon and/or Tusayan. It is too far for just driving to/from in 1 day.
Southrim is open all year, north rim only between mid may and mid october.

Why dont you stop and visit Zion N.Park on your first day? ,Paul
