Weird message, SoBe Traveler. I'm not sure I get your point. I do stay at LaQuintas because they are in the area I travel and they accept pets (without pet fees). Of course, so do Four Seasons and some Ritz and higher end Starwood hotels with doggie beds, doggie menus and special treats for 4 legged friends. Unfortunately for me, they aren't in my territory. But, if I ever DRIVE back down to the Four Season West Palm Beach, be assured by pooch will be more than ready to ride for me to be pampered at one of my favorite hotels.
Never eat at Denny's ...although I'm not sure why that restaurant was cited.
I would never chose to travel with a cat - short moves was torture enough for both of us.
And, I agree about the cat urine smell. The smell from "Payback time" for being taken on the road definitely would linger for a long time in a hotel room.
