As the local Hawaiians say, "Big Island mo better." However, I used to live on the BI so my opinion is not all that unbiased.

Each island has its unique personality that will appeal to different interest. We live on Oahu and like Oahu tremendously - no other island has a beach to compare to Waikiki. Our favorite neighboring island is the BI, but we've also had fun times on Kauai and on Maui.

Sorry to disagree with you but in my opinion Waikiki is not even in the top 10 beaches in Hawaii. It is not even the best beach on Oahu !!

BI is my favorite-most variation in terrain. Kuaui for relaxation and Maui
for snorkeling (Kaanapali). But any
Hawaii is good to me!!!!
