They've been back to couples. The family version was 2 Amazing Races ago. Amazing Race 9 was when the "hippies" won. Amazing Race 8 was the family version where the Linz family (3 brothers and a sister) won.

It was joyous to see the Hippies win rather than the two snobs with heavy duty libidos. LOL But it's true the family thing was such a bust, it's hard to believe it was race before last. It's joyous to see almost any nice couple win after the disgusting Rob and What's her name win. That almost made me stop watching.
Hopefully I'll be able to watch the opener. We'll be staying at a Park & Fly hotel the night before our departure for Savannah, but I'm sure going to try to work dinner and the new early starting time so I can watch.

You're absolutely right Suzie! I guess the memory is the first to go. My only excuse for my blunder is that I disliked them so intently and was so concerned they would win, based on their "winning" ways and the percs they received, that they did win. Thanks for reminding me that I was, thank goodness, wrong!

Woohoo...TAR's back!!
I checked out the site. More cultural diversity this time around, but your "givens" are there - the gay couple, the dating couple, etc. Sure is a lot of extra eye-candy for the boyz this time. Wished they split it fairly so us gals had just as much to enjoy
So after episodes, should we post here on the US board, or do it on the Eur board like last year? I don't want to split the postings.
Enjoy-la!

Suzie: Oh my. Nothing gets by you I see! Ok so quiz time for you and no cheating. What's the name of that HORRID girl who won one year (whiny and b***chy). She was with the nicest guy. As much as I liked him, I hated her more and was SO UPSET for the rest of the week when they won the race.
klam_chowder: So true! The people who cast the contestants are probably mostly guys..which sucks for us gals.

"Somebody actually watches that dribble?"
Yes, that's why it gets ratings and they continue to produce the show. That's how commercial TV works.
You have obviously not watched it. How can you categorize it as dribble? Another opinion based on conjecture and assumptions?
Also you should use the correct word to convey the appropriate air of superiority.
Dribble – drool
Drivel - nonsense, foolishness

Yes! Flo! I couldn't remember her name. She was something else.
Armand: If you don't care, you're absolutely welcome to bypass this threat...but obviously being sarcastic and nasty just for the sake of it seems to please you. Whatever floats your little thing, darling.
