Thanksgiving in Vegas for a Vegie, Help!

Hey fellow travelers!

I am going to spend Thanksgiving in Las Vegas with my hubby, son and a friend. I am having a hard time finding a place for dinner on Thanksgiving night. It seems most places have a set menu of turkey and mashed potatoes. Three in our group eat meat, however, I am a vegetarian which is making for a challenging search. Any suggestions of good places (not over 50.00 or so per person) where we can all find a good meal? We splurged last year and went to Sage at Aria and it was very expensive and the food was just not good much less vegie friendly. Help, please! All suggestions appreciated!!

Have you searched Happy Cow - www.happycow.net.

Also do a google search for vegetarian food on the map.

I've only been in LV for one night, on the way back from Zion and Bryce Canyon, but I remember having a hard time finding vegan food on the strip - lacto-ovo might be more choices. Also, this was a few years ago, and I things are rapidly improving for us veggies, so hopefully Vegas has too...

For your own kitchen, there's this place - we stayed here that one night and it was clean, spacious and convenient to strip.

Canaletto at the Venetian serves a traditional turkey dinner but also has much of their regular menu available including pizzas, salads, pastas w/vegetables etc.

BumbleB6, thank you so much for that link, I love it! Have bookmarked it and will download the app to my ipad as well. Being fairly new to the vegie life style I had not heard of it before. And to clarkgriswold, I love the menu at Canaletto, looks like a great suggestion! Thank you both so much for the input, I really appreciate it! Happy Travels!!

You're welcome! Happy Cow is your BEST travel tool as a veg*n, trust me! I always check it when making travel plans, and usually book my lodging based around where I can eat..
I also recommend just googling "vegetarian food" though, as Happy Cow will often miss places that serve meat but are also veg-friendly.
