Thanksgiving get-away
 
Looking for any recommendations for a lodge/resort convenient to JFK (within 1 - 2 hours) for a family holiday.
Also, any suggestions for Cape Cod would be great! Thanks

Amdd - what do you want to learn about Cape Cod? It is not clode to JFK by any means. Do you want to know about lodging, eating, touring? When are you travelling? Alone? With Family???

Not a resorts per say but I would love to stay at The St. Regis, The Pierre, Sherry Netherland, Plaza Athenee, or Carlyle in NYC. NYC is convenient to JFK.

What time of year are you looking at? If the summer, there are a lot of places to stay on Long Island (resorts - not lodges). If in the winter you can find resorts/lodges in the Poconos (the 2 hour range). You need to provide more info.

One confusing post. Are you saying you're looking for a place to fly to from JFK within 1 to 2 hours? That opens up a whole lot of possibilities.
