Thanksgiving Dinner in Las Vegas
 

Any suggestions for a great Thanksgiving meal in Las Vegas? We would prefer a sit-down as opposed to a buffet. Thanks for any and all ideas!!

There's close to a billion good places to eat in Vegas. Any preferences (Italian, French, etc)? Budget? I like Commander's Palace, especially now that New Orleans is out of commission for the near future. But your options are many.

We were looking for a restaurant to have a "traditional" Thanksgiving meal. Budget is not a concern.

Many restaurants will be serving a traditional meal that day. Many of them will also have a set menu (and a set price) with a few choices like duck or turkey.

Where are you staying? You might want to check with the restaurants at your hotel to see what they're offering.

If price is not a concern, I would go with someplace at the Bellagio- Prime, etc. I imagine they do something just exquisite there.

We always go "non-traditional" for Vegas Thanksgiving so I don't know how the turkey is in town. Wherever you decide, make a reservation ASAP. They tend to fill up quickly.

Sorry for free-associating, but I looked at the title of this post and said, "Norman Rockwell must be spinning in his grave."

I'm blaming my in-laws for Thanksgiving in Vegas as they are planning a sort of reunion there for the holiday. We got an amazing deal at the Paris LV so couldn't say no. I guess we'll eat "French" turkey.

Mccormick & Schmicks serves a great traditional Thanksgiving dinner, there is one near Flamingo & Paradise. I have family in NV who go to that location on holidays. I believe Maggiano's serves a full fare holiday dinner all day as well... I hope these help. I've been to Mccormick's on Turkey day and I would recommend it.

Thanksgiving is a fabulous time to visit Las Vegas. We used to go to LV over Thanksgiving but started going in October since the weather was nicer.

We always went for a buffet on Thanksgiving. You'd need to go to a top end like Bellagio, Wynn, etc though. We used to go to the Aladdin buffet, but that has since been moved to a temporary location and I hear it is not as good.

We always start with the traditional items like turkey, etc but also had some lamb, crab legs. The good ones do it right. Of course there is always pumpkin pie and assorted other goodies.

I know you said you didn't want to do a buffet, but you might want to reconsider. Paris has a nice buffet but I'm not sure what they'd have on Thanksgiving.
