thanksgiving diner where to go

A group of Charger fans from San Diego are coming to the Redskins game and we will arrive on Thanksgiving day. Would like to find a great restaurant to have Thanksgiving dinner. The price is not a problem just a great restaurant with good food. Please let me know your suggestions.
Thanks

I suggest you put Washington DC in your title and you'll get a ton of responses. Also, do a search for Washington restaurants. There have been a ton of food posts and maybe there will be a mention of last year's holiday openings..

I'm sorry to sound like "spelling police" but I honestly clicked on to your post wondering what city one would look for a diner in which to have Thanksgiving dinner. But since you say you want a "great" restaurant, I suspect a diner is not what you're looking for.

And yes, the above poster is right that a city in your title will draw more competent responses.

Also would be helpful to know which city -- assuming DC or Baltimore -- you will be staying in and therefore where you would like to have your dinner.

Depends a lot on what kind of food you're looking for.

One good bet for a group might be B. Smith's in Washington's Union Station. (I'm assuming they're open.)
