Thanksgiving Day in Seattle
Could anyone suggest a resturant to have Thanksgiving Day dinner at? We will be staying downtown Seattle. Thanks
|
Here is an Seattle Times article and a chowhound thread that might help you:
http://tinyurl.com/yn57tf http://www.chowhound.com/topics/3371...amp;user_name= It is VERY late to be making a reservation. You might have the best luck by looking at opentable.com and seeing what restaurants actually have spots left, then doing research on those. |
Oh, I feel terrible about over looking the timetable for reservations. I am starting to hunt now--thanks

Good work christy1! I thought of Fodor's forum when I read that article in the paper but forgot to clip it.
In a pinch, you can get holiday meals at Safeway and take them to the park! |
That would be a nice idea also, but thought we would do something special for the day, as we are coming from Minnesota and want to enjoy as much as we can. (We can do Safeway in MN)

hhaohen---the Harborside (McCormick & Schmicks) has an opening at 6:30 on Thanksgiving. I checked that one because we had Thanksgiving dinner there a few =years ago before heading out of town to ski. It was quite nice, and the location on Lake Union is scenic.
Good luck, and Happy Thanksgiving. |
Any recommendations on Boka, reservations are available there. Also, is there such a thing as an evening harbor cruise for dinner?
|
I apolgize for misspelling your name laast time---hit "post" too soon.
Argosy has dinner cruises: http://www.argosycruises.com/publiccruises/default.cfm I checked and they are still taking reserations for a Thanksgiving dinner cruise, departing at 2:00 pm, $60 per person. |
Cutter's Bayhouse or McCormick & Schmick's on 1st Avenue would be good choices. They are both on www.opentable.com
|
I've only had appetizers in the bar at BOKA but they were very good, and the place has had good reviews. It's pretty trendy/cutting edge, though-check the t-day menu to make sure the turkey isn't coming as a popsicle or something.
