Make sure to go to Waimea Canyon, we went on a short hike while we were there which was incredible. Also, the Princeville Hotel was beautiful. We ate at Keoki's Paradise near Poipu which was very good. Also went on a helicopter ride - pricey but worth it.
You'll have a great time!

We went in 1997. It is truly beautiful. Make sure you take the road all the way to the end to Kee Beach. If you do some research you can find Lumahai beach (where they filmed South Pacific)along the way. Take the hike at Kee Beach that gives you a great view of the Napi Cliffs. Also take the road all the way up the Waimea Canyon to Kokee State Park and the Kalalau lookout. The views are breath taking from this spot. Please send me an e-mail if we can answer any questions you may have.

Aloha Jim & Allison. We were in Kauai in
August. Our second visit in as many years. We tried a new tour boat, Holo
Holo Charters out of Nawiliwili Harbor.
They take you on a cruise around the
entire island of Kauai then they cruise
over to Ni'ihau (about 18 miles offshore from Kauai. As long as the seas
aren't too bad it's a great trip. They
leave about 7 AM and return about 4 PM.
The snorkeling at Ni'ihau is fantastic.
Your're the only boat out there! Also,
for a great meal with a view try Brennecke's at Poipu Beach. Aloha,Ed
