Terminal transfer Boston airport

Hi, can anyone tell me how long it will realistically take to get from Terminal B to Terminal E at Logan International? Thanks!!!

10 to 15 minutes. There's a free shuttle bus that makes a continuous loop around all the terminals (and the Airport subway stop).

Thanks, Jen!

If you want any more info about Logan, go to Massport.com. You can find out about restaurants, flight delays, etc. It is a reasonably good site.

Thanks. I agree that the Massport site is a very good one, good maps, good info. But it just didn't tell me how long the transfer took, so I had to turn to Fodors friends, which didn't let me down!!

Lori- I would suggest it might take a little longer if you factor in that you will have to go through security again in Terminal E. I think that 10 minutes is quite optimistic, but perhaps possible if bus pulls up right when you step outside. 20 min is probably more realistic for 1st time Logan traveler. (And note that there are several buses that will go between these terminals- I would just ask the driver of the first bus that pulls up. Stand in the Subway Bus Stop line I believe.)

Hi...I've read the helpful messages about the shuttle bus service at Logan and was wondering if it's possible to simply walk...indoors...from Terminal C to Terminal E? This would or could prevent having to go through security multiple times. I don't see any reference to being able to walk indoors between terminals in the Logan website. The site talks about the buses. Most airports I've been in provide the ability to walk from one terminal to another. It could be a long walk, but it can be done. Thanks for your help!!

This message was posted a year ago - I hope the person has made it between terminals by now.

To shurley - have to go outside - not connected.

Shurley, Gail is right, YOu hve to go outside. I'm not really sure if you could walk on the outside, but I don't think so. There is a lot of construction going on and to tell you the truth, the shuttle is much easier. I think even trying to walk would be confusing and dangerous crossing all the lanes etc.
Regardless, it would not accomplish anything. YOu'd still have to go through security again. NO way around that. So just take the easy way and hop on the shuttle.

Thanks for the responses! We have a 2.5 hour layover so that should be enough time.
