Tennis Resort in California
 

Wanting to give a gift certificate for a one night stay at a tennis resort, preferably in Northern California. Approximately $200.00<BR>per night. Any suggestions?

Ann,<BR>Carmel Valley Ranch Resort is running a special now - under $200.00 per night. We stayed there in June and loved it, beautiful location, great tennis courts.

There's a web site called tennisresortsonline.com that's pretty good. I would be wary of Tennis magazine's rankings. They consistently rank the Colony in Sarasota among the best and I didn't like it. Also consider staying somewhere managed by Peter Burwash Int'l. They take a little more activist approach to setting you up with similar players.
